Because of a “Pit Bull”…

As I started writing today’s blog, it quickly went from a story to a list so instead of putting this into a story I thought I’d share my list with you. And with October being National Pit Bull Awareness Month, the timing is perfect! So here you go…Feel free to add to the list if you like!
-Because of a “pit bull” I have learned to stop worrying so much about what other people think and let my actions be my words.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve learned that 2nd hand information is almost always wrong.
-Because of a “pit bull” I now own a senior beagle named, Wally.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve learned that educating is much more powerful than finger pointing.
-Because of a “pit bull” ipittythebull.com
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve learned that it’s perfectly ok to cry over an animal that is not mine.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve experienced love at first sight multiple times. It’s a real thing.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve learned that your pet can never live long enough so enjoy every day like it’s your last with them.
-Because of a “pit bull” 3 of my best friends cannot speak a lick of English but we all understand each other.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve made some lifelong friends…and some humans, too!
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve learned that not every dog that looks like a pittie IS one!
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve learned that my dogs are way cooler than I’ll ever be.
-Because of a “pit bull” my heart has been broken and mended back together more than I ever thought it could be.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’m fostering a pregnant cat.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve learned that the energy I put out in the world is so much more powerful than any words that I speak.
-Because of a “pit bull” I’ve found Priceless Pets and discovered my passion.
-Because of a “pit bull” I get to change minds.
-Because of a “pit bull” I get to save lives.

Great list John! I don’t have a pit bull at this time, so I can’t really say Because of a ‘pit bull’…but I can say ~ Because of my “rescued fur babies” I know the meaning of unconditional love.
