Jude’s Journey – Week 4
by John Flores
As we enter into the 4th week of Jude’s Journey, I can officially say he’s ready for his forever home! Here’s a little recap of last week…
Health:
Jude went back for a checkup at his vet. He has been responding well to his meds and he continues to be on prednisone but in a much lower dosage. His hair is not all the way back but it’s getting there! Just like my dogs, he will probably always have allergies and his condition is more of a result of neglect than anything. His new family will just have to know when his allergies are getting bad and be able to get them under control. He’s on grain free kibble and off the chicken and rice and he’s had no allergic reactions!
Socializaton/Training:
Jude is just about perfect. He’s perfect around kids, other dogs and even sat next to a kitten at the vet last week and while he was curious, he was a perfect gentleman! This dog has therapy dog written all over him. I know there’s no such thing as the perfect dog but Jude is as close as it gets!
He still has yet to have an accident in the house and although he is crate trained I don’t think there’s anything to worry
about if you were to leave him in the house for an extended amount of time.
Overall:
From here on out, whenever I’m anywhere I can bring a dog, Jude will be with me with his Priceless Pets vest on. I really can’t believe this dog ended up at the pound and was on the euthanization list. He’s ready for his forever home and whoever adopts this sweet boy will have hit the dog lottery. If you would like to schedule a meet and greet with Jude please email priceless.pets@yahoo.com and I will be happy to arrange that!
Sorry for the short update but I don’t know how else to tell you that Jude is awesome without repeating myself!

Jude really has had a journey. He is doing so well. Hope he finds a good home soon. John, your love, dedication and passion is phenomenal.
That’s sort of the way we feel about Valentino. He is such a good sweet boy that I can’t imagine abandoning him. As soon as I am going to be home for a while we will probably start looking to adopt a brother or sister for him. Thank you again John and Kurtis for inspiring me to do something, even if it’s a small gesture. Vale has taught us so much about love and commitment.
Can’t wait to meet him!!
Jude has had quite a journey and he looks so much better. And John, your love, dedication and passion for these animals is phenomenal. I hope this will continue in their “furever” homes.
Thank you, Kathy!!
I fell in love with Jude the first day I saw him on Instagram. I was thrilled that you took him in as a foster, knowing that you would do wonders with him. He sounds like an amazing boy, and is absolutely going to bring sunshine into the life of whoever adopts him. I hope he ends up with an amazing furever family. He deserves it. Thanks for all you did for Jude. You showed him the true meaning of love.
