Make a Difference, Start in your Own Community!
by John Flores
Yesterday I went to my first city council meeting as a representative of the Priceless Pets Pittie Crew. While this may not sound like a big deal to most of you, it was a HUGE deal to me. First of all, I never thought I would ever end up at one of these meetings and I gotta admit, I thought it was pretty cool. I felt like I was at a big congressional meeting. Lol
All jokes aside, minus a few important members, the pittie crew was there in full force! Our very own Michael Frethy stood before the council to report the success of the Pack Walk. This, by the way, raised 11k and brought in over 160 participants. And although there was just about every breed of dog there, the pittie presence was strong! Not only is Michael the guy who keeps the Priceless Pets website running and looking smooth, but he is very well spoken but also very candid at the same time. He’s the perfect representative to speak for us!
I’m telling you. If you want to make a difference, start in your own community! You can’t change the world if you don’t start where you live! I’m so proud to be part of a group that is so passionate. Especially a group that speaks for those who can’t speak. Penny, Elvis, myself and their favorite dog sitter are off to the beach to have some fun and change more minds in the process. Hope you all have a great day!
